10 Dares That Went Horribly Wrong

5. Cliff Climb

The Dare: A 14-year-old boy was dared by his friends to climb Sewerby Cliffs in Yorkshire, on his birthday. How wrong did it go? The boy got stuck on the 100 feet high cliffs, around 40 feet about the beach where his friends were observing. Unable to move up or down, the police were called for assistance when the tide began to hit the base of the cliff. Humber Coastguard, the Bridlington Coastguard Rescue Team, and a helicopter from RAF Leconfield all attended the rescue operation, which was successful in rescuing the boy. Additionally, a lifeboat crew had to wade out to ensure the safety of the boys friends, who were trapped by the incoming tide. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0X6QXJl1jCc
