8. Paella For 110,000?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7WOVipSOvU Paella's a real sharing food and it's not uncommon to see people flocking to giant paella pans at those horrible Christmas fairs which spring up in every town centre about two days after Hallowe'en. If you think those are big you'll be blown away by the record breaking paella made by a Valencian restauranteur to promote his restaurant. The record, set in 1992, saw the Spanish chef create a masterpiece of monster food. The pan measured 21.5 metres in diameter and took a team of 80 cooks to prepare the mammoth dish. The record claimed that the paella could have fed 110,000 people, a slight improvement over the previous record (also set by the same restauranteur) which could only feed 100,000.
