1. A Mechanic Tweets An Open Request For Marijuana
Toronto mechanic Sunith Baheerathan was bored at work a couple of years ago when a thought occurred to him. Instead of doing his job sober and not smoking weed in a garage, he could totally get high by smoking weed in the garage. Unfortunately, he was faced with a problem: how to get weed, out there in the world, to him, there in the garage? Then he remembered - Twitter is linked to the world! He could just send a message out on Twitter asking if there was anyone who would deliver illegal drugs to his place of work. It would be the perfect crime. As it turned out, it was the exact opposite of the perfect crime, as the police noticed straight away and tweeted back, "Can we come too?" Their reply was retweeted so many times it caught the attention of Baheerathan's employers, who sacked him for being too stupid to be allowed near cars. Do you have any other stories about people being fired for their own stupidity? Let us know in the comments below.
