2. Paro Airport - Paro, Bhutan

This airport is so challenging only a handful of pilots are qualified to fly here.

Landings at this airport are only allowed during daylight hours and pilots must be able to land using visuals, rather than equipment. The short runway is set in a valley, surrounded but the 16,000 foot high peaks of the Himalayas, making it a difficult descent.
