Miley Cyrus is no stranger to scandal and spectacle these days, but before she had a very public breakdown in the name of feminism and wanting more money and less clothes, she was a much more innocent person (or so we were led to believe). On the 5th of September in 2008 Reuters managed to publish an article claiming that Cyrus had died in a car crash accident. Other networks and news shows quickly picked up the story and were suitably embarrassed as Miley Cyrus appeared on stage the following Friday. Cyrus was reported dead again in November of 2008 when somebody accessed Cyrus' YouTube account and uploaded a video statement claiming the singer had died after being hit by a drunk driver. Again in September of 2013 (after the afore mentioned breakdown) a widely repeated rumour spread that Miley Cyrus had committed suicide due to the stress of being judged by the entire world, unanimously.
