10 Hidden Details In Disneyland You Probably Didn’t Know
8. Haunted Mansion & The Secret Pet Cemetery
The Haunted Mansion is one of the more enjoyable rides in Disneyland, with low-budget scares and a whole host of detail that makes it a spooky treat for children and adults like. The ride itself is full of hidden secrets and details with the 999 ghouls looking to make it a round 1,000.
When entering the Haunted Mansion foyer, ask one of Master Gracey’s butler for a death certificate - if you’re lucky, you may just be given a personalised certificate at the end of your ride indicating the start of your afterlife within the haunted halls.
This is at the cast members discretion with each butler having a handful of these personalised certificates to hand out per day. Today, Disney no longer ‘officially’ runs the programme, but that shouldn’t stop you asking.
If you’re out of luck with the certificate, the cast member can give you a guided tour around the secret pet cemetery out back, which only people in the know will ever get to see.
