The Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma is a sight that many people will suggest you visit and may not seem like an obvious hidden gem, however the number of people who simply admire the building from the outside are missing some of its most incredible features. The cathedral is a gothic Roman Catholic building and was built on the site of a pre-existing Arab mosque. One of the most stunning aspects of the building is the incredible light show that you can only see from inside.
