4. JOB OPENING :ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK

In one of the slightly more unusual email scams, the scammer will pretend to be well-known energy drink manufacturers Rockstar. In the email, they'll offer an unrealistically high amount of money for the recipient to simply display the Rockstar logo on their vehicle. It sounds too good to be true, because it is. If anyone responds to the initial email, they'll explain how payment works. The recipient has to cash a cheque, deduct their weekly fee, then pay the remaining amount to a 'graphic artist'. Of course, there isn't really a graphic artist. The cheques are forged, meaning that they'll bounce afterwards, meaning that the victim has just sent their own money directly to the scammer, with nothing in return. Example:
