10 Interesting Multiclass Options To Improve Your Dungeons & Dragons Character

4. Monk/Sorcerer

To be fair, Monks are a class that are pretty much perfect on their own. They do exactly what they say on the tin, right before roundhouse kicking the tin through a brick wall.

However, that doesn't mean adding something to make the class a little different isn't worth it, and that's where the sorcerer comes in: the edgier, too cool for school version of the Wizard class. God, Wizards are nerds.

By adding even just a couple of Sorcerer levels to the Monk, you'll have access to a whole array of new spells, as well as metamagic features to make your character extra versatile.

One of the Monk's very few failings is that they're pretty bland when not punching things, and this is a great new spin on the old, traditional formula. Imagine, punching like a Monk but then having a fireball come out of your hand too. Pretty neat, huh?

While there is a subclass of the Monk that allows for the use of spells, they're not particularly that great, and by multiclassing instead, you're free to select one of the better subclasses. All it takes is a few more points into the Charisma stat. Hey, at least you'll be able to apologise to whoever you headbutt.
