Red Ring of Death Does the 'Red Ring of Death' sound familiar to you? The Xbox seemed to have this inexplicable hardware issue that caused people to send their consoles back to Microsoft for repairs. Not only did this eat away at people's playing time, but it was annoying to have to wait for your console after purchasing a game you've been anticipating for months. The fact that your Xbox 360 could die at any given time was not only stressful, it caused some players to switch to the PS3 because it is more durable. Make no mistake, the PS3 has had its fair share of issues, but they were less frequent. If Microsoft wants to outlive Sony, they'll have to make sure their console outlives Sony's.
