10 Lessons Microsoft Need To Learn From Sony

4. Policies

Microsoft Now, I'm not sure about Sony's policies as I only own an Xbox 360 - but this is definitely something Microsoft needs to improve. The current limit on the amount of free downloadable content (DLC's) a developer can release is one. As I said, I don't know about the specifics, but ONE? Really? The lack of DLC's made some people quit playing certain games. It's a fact: the more DLC's a game offers, the longer people will play the game; earning Microsoft more money from subscriptions for their online multiplayer. It'd make sense if Microsoft limited the amount of DLC's a game can offer in general, be it priced or not. If Microsoft treats its gamers like 'cash cows' rather than people, gamers will just move on to the next best thing: the Playstation.
