10 Life Lessons You Should Learn From The Joker

9. Team Work Makes The Dream Work

Successful teamwork is built on a foundation of dependence. Each member of the team must establish trust, then cultivate that trust through their actions and words, and work to maintain it. Each member also needs to be able to have confidence in their team members to make a commitment to the team and its goals. They must work competently with those goals in mind, and communicate consistently about any issues that affect the team. This is yet another area where the Joker shines. Let€™s examine the jailhouse scene in The Dark Knight as just one example. Think of what it would take to pull off this kind of project: First, you need someone who is willing (or unaware) to get a bomb surgically implanted into their body. Then you need a couple of goons to kidnap Harvey Dent and Rachel, tie them up and take them to two separate locations. Not to mention all the other minute details that would need attending to. The ferry scene at the end of the film is another example of team work at its finest. The concentration required to keep these details straight throughout a 24-48 hour period is mind-boggling. No one person could have pulled this off alone, even a criminal mastermind, so the Joker needed to trust that his team wouldn€™t blow a single detail, otherwise the entire endeavor would come crumbling down.
