10 Magic Tricks That Went Disastrously Wrong Live

7. Clown Sets Fire To A Dove

While it's important for kids to learn about death at some point, a light-hearted birthday party is not the best place for them to confront that topic.

But parents of the kids at this particular birthday bash probably needed to have one or two words with their young 'uns after they witnessed a live dove being burned to death after a trick went wrong.

The man performing said trick - donned in a creepy clown outfit - was aiming to pull off the dove pan illusion, wherein a bird magically emerges from a seemingly empty container. Oh, and that container is also on fire.

The clown was supposed to slam the lid down on top of the container, which would extinguish the flames and allow the dove to escape unharmed.

But in this case, the container erupts in a ball of flame before the clown can put it out, and the poor animal falls out, writhing around on the floor before it dies.

And then, about as awkwardly as possible, the clown scoops up the dead bird and tries to carry on with his act.

That's where the video ends, but we can only imagine he then told the kids that Santa wasn't real and that they were all adopted, in keeping with the dark nature of his show.
