Sure, it seems like a boring one. But have you ever been broken up with over text? It's a cowardly way to end a relationship and gives the sender no emotional responsibility. Sending a blunt text saying 'I'm sorry, but it's over' or 'You're just not the one for me right now' or 'I can't do this anymore because you're too good for me' leaves the receiver feeling angry and due something a little more heroic. It's mean because the breaking-upper doesn't have to face the potential emotional melt down they're causing, or have to awkwardly reassure the heartbroken that they'll be ok. They get away Scott -free; you are left with nothing but a hollow rage and only your friends to bitch to.
I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
