10 Most Haunted Places In Scotland

A place infested with the dead, and you just wanted a decent night's sleep...

With Scotland's violent and bloody history, you're sort of baffled as to why the ghosts would want to stick around in the places that their lives ended so brutally. There have been numerous battles and sieges over the years which have resulted in torture, death and destruction; so naturally, these places are now haunted and have numerous ghost sightings to prove it. These old buildings and castles are housing some extremely sadistic ghosts which don't seem to be able to move on. The reports that have been recorded describe ghosts re-enacting their deaths and battles that occurred hundreds of years ago. You'd think that Hell would be a solace for them instead of reliving the emotions and physical tortures that comes with going into battle but no, they'd rather just stay here and scare the hell out of people instead. So whether you're a believer of the Supernatural world or not, there are a few places in Scotland that are going to chill you to the bone with their dreary corridors, dark shadows and tortured spirits. Will you be brave enough to spend a night in some of these castles and hotels? Probably not, and you'll be very bitter about spending a three digit sum for a sleepless night in some castle that is only comfortable for those who are dead. So if you're ever North of the border, be sure to check out a few of these locations and see if you can spot any ghouls and ghosts.
