9. Megan Huntsman Pleads Guilty For The Murder Of Six Of Her Babies

In 2014 Megan Huntsman was arrested for the murder of her six newborn babies and accused of stashing their bodies in her own garage. February this year she plead guilty on all accounts and now faces six counts of murder and life imprisonment. Her defence in court was that she was a methamphetamine addict and did not want to care for the babies. She admitted that she choked or smothered the six newborns and that there was a seventh baby but had been born stillborn. The bodies were discovered by her estranged husband Darren West who was the father of all the children but was unaware she had been pregnant despite each baby being born full term. He is not being investigated in connection to the murders. Huntsman did not speak throughout the trial other than she said the words 'guilty' six times when called upon to answer how she would plead.
