Experience life as an astronaut with the ZERO-G experience. Sadly, oh so sadly, most of us won't get the opportunity to go into space, but with a zero-G flight, you'll get a taste of what it is like to live in orbit. The specially modified plane performs a maneuver known as a parabola. This is essentially a rollercoaster ride of peaks and troughs during which passengers get to experience genuine weightlessness. The plane will climb to 32,000 feet before entering a steep dive. The experience is not simulated or "fake" zero gravity. Astronauts in orbit float around because they are in freefall around the Earth, experiencing the exact same effect for the exact same reason. It's kinda pricey, so maybe stick this one on the bucket list. Want to write for WhatCulture Science? Click here to find out how you could get paid to write about what you love.Hey, you. Yeah, you.
