We are all one. If the concept of that boggles your mind, you're going to be even more bewildered at what we're about the tell you. The "Internet Of Things" is a concept which describes a kind of technological nervous system linking every human, animal or object in the world. Imagine taking your usual commute to work, and your coffee shop senses your approach and starts preparing your usual Americano. That's right, we said the coffee shop. Not the barista. A "thing" can be literally everything and anything: objects, machines, appliances, buildings... whatever you may come across in your every day life. Inanimate objects will all have a back history, health problems can be monitored and even heart attacks can be detected before they happen. Lost your keys? They're tagged in the Internet of Things, therefore easily locatable simply by asking Google. The same thing goes for your child. There's bound to be endless issues of privacy concerns when this occurs, but we can't deny it's not going to be beneficial. By 2032, the hope is that each person will probably be surrounded by almost 5000 "connected" everyday things.
