While it's understandable that creating the entire wizarding world from scratch plus writing seven books worth of stories to go with it is a big job (and no-one here is saying they could do it any better), were the rest of the world content knowing that a reign of terror was upon them and just let it go? For example: what were all the Down Under wizards doing while Voldey was searching the world for the Elder Wand? What was the rest of Europe doing while evil seized the UK? Where was Russia?! We needed you Russia! What were the witches in Thailand doing, except sunbathing and probably riding on magical tame dolphins or something? In another world, the final book would have seen magical armies from across the globe coming in Harry's defence. Not just the last few students from Hogwarts and their guardians. Just saying...
I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
