10 Niggling Harry Potter Questions JK Rowling Must Answer
7. Were Fred And George Blind To The Man In Ron's Bed?
Fred and George not noticing Peter Pettigrew sleeping in Rons bed every night on the Marauders map is quite a serious plot hole. In their first year, Fred and George Wesley stole the Marauders map, which showed everyones location in Hogwarts. Ron inherited Scabbers, Percys old rat, when he first went to school. Scabbers was really Peter Pettigrew in hiding. So, logically, why wouldnt Fred or George (or Harry, for that matter) have been able to see Pettigrew hanging out in Rons room for years? Even if Fred and George didnt recognize the name Pettigrew as the man Sirius Black supposedly murdered, wouldnt it still have been odd to have seen a stranger they didnt know following their brother around all the time on the map?
I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
