For anyone who doesn't know, LARP stands for Live Action Role Playing - and there are LARP events taking place all the time. Have you seen Role Models starring Seann William Scott and Paul Rudd? In the comedy film you can see the duo at a LARP event - something that would be perfect for the nerdy couple to enjoy. LARP events involve participants physically taking on the roles of characters in order to play out an action-packed scene. It's basically a day of acting - like in drama class but a bit more full on. From horror and historical to sci-fi and fantasy, you can pick and choose which genre of LARP event would suit the two of you the most.
