10 Problems Only People From Pittsburgh Would Understand

1. Pittsburgh Weather

As the old adage goes, if you don't like the weather in Pittsburgh, just wait an hour. It'll change. Technically, Pittsburgh has a humid continental climate with hot summers and no dry season, but here is something about the location of this city that makes it a geographical oddity. It snows in the spring. It rains in the winter. It changes with a rapidity that would make Sybil's personalities envious. In November 2014, temperatures in Pittsburgh went from 20 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit in the same week. It's not uncommon to experience all four seasons in a 24 hour period. Pittsburghers understand the need to dress for all of the variables. A mild, chilly morning will likely progress into armpit sweat stains by noon and rain before sundown. It stands to reason then that both the baseball and football stadiums would be open-air. There's no point in denying visiting fans the pleasure of Pittsburgh's meteorological mood swings.
