10 Problems Only People Who Love Their Alone Time Will Understand
8. Bailing On A Night Out Makes Your Friends Mad
Sometimes, a massive night out with 14 people, downing shots and dancing like maniacs just isn't your cup of tea. It's not that you don't like it - god knows you go out and go wild when you want to - but sometimes a night in is more appealing. But for some reason, the more sociable of your friends just don't understand. Either that, or they don't want to. The conversation always goes: Friend: "Hey, are you coming out tonight?" You: "No, think I'm going to have a night in" Friend: "Ohhhh, man, please come out, it'll be great" You: "No, honestly, I'd really rather stay at home" Friend: "What is wrong with you? You never come out anymore. WE NEED YOU" You: "No you don't, and I came out last week" Friend: "Arrhh, fine, be boring" *hangs up* And then you're left feeling guilty, even though you've done nothing wrong in the slightest.
I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
