10 Problems Only People Who Love Their Alone Time Will Understand
7. You Come Across As Introvert When You're Not
In an office environment, at least twice a week a lunch time trip to the pub will be on the cards. And when you do go, it's fun. You like gossiping with the work crowd about the latest office relationship, how much of an arse the boss has been this week, and how panicked you are about up-coming deadlines. However, there are going to be days where spending lunch time alone sitting at your desk, in your car, or in a local park are going to be more appealing. You're reading a good book, you've got your lunch with you, and you want to be free of the office environment for an hour. Is that too difficult for people to understand? Sometimes, yes. Your colleagues start thinking something's up, or that you're just a shy quiet person. But you're not. You just love your own company, goddamit.
