10 Problems Only People Who Love Their Alone Time Will Understand
3. University Was A Struggle To Make Excuses
If there was ever a long period in your life where you're constantly surrounded by enthusiastic gabbling social individuals, it was your years at university. While you wanted to go in the first place, the reality of living with up to 12 other people and never having any living space to yourself except your own pokey uni room was actually a slap in the face when it came to doing things by yourself. You had to convince your new friends that you weren't a loner; you just couldn't handle being in the company of others 24/7 for three or more years. Drunken chats always tended to fall back on talking about you and your desire to be alone, made into a bigger deal than what it actually was due to the copious cheeky V's you'd all consumed on a student night out.
I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
