6. Theres Four Elmos In A Single Block, And I Dont Trust Any Of Them.
Landmark/Attraction: Times Square Location: New York, NY Designer/Artist: N/A Completed: N/A A decade ago, there was a massive hubbub over Times Square that it was finally safe and clean, since city officials rezoned the area to get rid of all the sex shops and strip clubs. But now, it's a corporate wasteland, and even though the vice is lesser than it was in the 80's, the place is still a bit seedy just in different ways. Don't believe the hype the sex shops and strip clubs are still there. They might be a little more discreet, but for anyone looking for them, they're pretty easy to find. And let's not even talk about the costumed Elmos, Spidermans, Cookie Monsters, and Mickey Mouses that infest 42nd-44th Street like a plague. New Yorkers think that tourists are insane. What parent, in their right head, would have their kid pose with a knockoff, soiled looking Elmo? Who knows what's under that big red face?
