10 Reasons We've Already Lost The Impending War Against The Robots
6. Robots Are More Versatile
One of the biggest problems humans would have against the machines is that were all relatively the same. The vast majority of us have four limbs, a torso and a head. Robots, on the other hand, can be any shape. The problem with a humanoid body is that there are many vulnerable weak points. For example, if we break our leg, it severely limits our mobility. However, machines have more versatility in their size and shape. For example, a humanoid body may not be the most advantageous when it comes to fighting humans. So instead of being Terminator-style machines, they would look more like Daleks. A machine with a low centre of gravity with a weapon fixed on the top could patrol cities while a spider-like robot could traverse rougher terrain where humans are more likely to hide during the Robopocalypse. One place that may seem like an excellent place to hide is an island. The bad news is that drones can fly and there is even a ten legged robot which can walk on water. There are simply no places to hide, and it's all thanks to robotic diversity. Be afraid, people.
