10 Survival Tips For When Your Internet Goes Down

4. Cook A Meal

By this point chances are you're going to be hungry. Get into that kitchen of yours and make yourself a meal. It doesn't matter what it is, but the more extravagant and therefore time-consuming the process, the better. This will be a really rewarding step not only because of your currently dire circumstances, but also because of how beneficial it'll be to you for the rest of your life. If you're feeling particularly bold and daring, then go and make something you've never made before. The results just might in fact surprise you. If you make something new and it's absolutely terrible, then count it as a learning experience and try again. If you make something that's truly fantastic, then you've now discovered a new go-to favourite whenever you find yourself in a pinch. If you're making something that you've already made ten times before, then don't be discouraged. Just look at the repeat performances as another go at perfecting one of your favourite meals. Even if it's something as simple as making Kraft Dinner, you'll be one meal closer to making the best version of that meal you'll ever make. Without the ability to go on Instagram, this will also help you fight the indomitable urge to do just that. Believe it or not, it is actually possible to eat a meal without having to take a picture it, filter or otherwise. The less you do it, the better at combatting your addiction you'll be.
