Scott Humphrey punched his friend to death while on a taxi journey back from a lads' night out. His reasoning behind this is because Richard Rovetto had 'poked' Humphrey's girlfriend on Facebook, claiming that he didn't realise they were romantically linked. Humphrey repeatedly punched Rovetto in the taxi, before taking the fight outside and smashing the heavily-bleeding Rovetto's head on the pavement. Humphrey initially fled the scene, but later turned himself in to police. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to four years and four months in jail.
