There are some quarters that just seem to drag and these are usually the ones when you're getting slaughtered, you've been substituted, or during the third quarter because everyone is starting to run out of steam. You'll sometimes feel like you're letting the team down because your arms and legs aren't in sync and you don't even have the energy to throw the ball to where it needs to be. But as soon as the forth quarter kicks off, you change into this professional athlete and completely dismiss your performance in the previous quarter and convince your opposition that it was just a scare tactic.
