True a lot of us islanders enjoy a nice brew. Yes we may have even grown up on the beverage. OK, alright, admittedly some British people will curse someone for not offering them a cup of tea before setting foot over the threshold of their front door, in a kind of twisted beverage based reversal of vampiric lore. BUT, walk into a Starbucks in East London and order a tea and see what kind of reactions you get. It will be like they think you have just landed from some kind of parallel alternate universe where no one was told anything about coffee and how cool it makes you. You will be mocked, pointed at, and possibly even put into some kind of medieval stocks. Unless of course you are ordering it ironically. Its really hard to tell these days.
