Whilst a routine is good for giving you a guideline to stick to, you need to make sure that you're not going to become bored or complacent. If you're bored, you're not going to try and whenever someone invites you out for a drink instead of going training, you'll find yourself in the pub getting drunk before you've even found your trainers. Try something you haven't done before and if your work outs are getting easier, then add more weight or hit the treadmill for longer.
