9. There's Really No Excuse To Litter

You're never far away from a rubbish bin in Walt Disney World.

The legend goes that Walt Disney was so concerned over litter being dropped in Disneyland that he watched guests to see how many steps they would typically take to find a bin before they gave up and dropped it. Turns out that is only about 30 steps. So when you are at Walt Disney World, you shouldn't ever be more than 30 feet from a trash can.

Speaking of bins, it's rare to see one being emptied at Magic Kingdom. That's because they are attached to suction devices that vacuums all the contents of the bins to a central refuse site located behind Splash Mountain.
