10 Things You Didn't Know About Cameron Diaz

7. She Is A 'Germaphobe'

You may think opening doors with your elbows is a little extreme, but not in the Diaz-Madden household.

In an interview with Time Magazine the actress disclosed that as a sufferer from mysophobia - more casually known as €˜germaphobia€™ - she washes her hands - a lot - , and is unable to touch her door handles with her bare skin for fear of a microscopic biological attack.

Diaz qualified her condition, saying that she€™s €œnot into other people€™s fluids unless I know them well.€ You€™re not alone, Cameron.

Diaz€™s comment came in a 1997 interview at the height of her celebrity. Hopefully, she is a little bit more relaxed about the issue now.
