Before she appeared in The Mask, Diaz spent a few years modelling around the world, and in 1991 she appeared in a commercial for Coca-Cola whilst in Australia.

Ironically, twenty years later she began to eschew the product as part of her healthy living drive, even going so far as to make the bold claim that smoking is a healthier option to the carbonated drink. €œI think one cigarette once in a while is not going to kill you,€ she remarkably exclaimed, further adding that drinking a glass of sugar would have far fewer negative health consequences.

Considering Diaz€™s espousal of fit living, her comments unsurprisingly came under scrutiny, with the actor pilloried for ignoring the addictive qualities of nicotine despite the relatively harmless nature of a single cigarette.€Cameron Diaz is deluding herself€, rebuked Deborah Arnott of health charity ASH.
