Hanks states that he couldn't choose a favourite out of all the films his starred in, although admits that there are several with some brilliant memories attached to them: "There were some that were great adventures some just a blast to do Penny Marshalls A League of Their Own, that was a great summer. Apollo 13 was a fabulous, fabulous thing. Castaway was a big adventure because I got to swim every day and I got to have the period where I ate everything. And then, I had the period where I had to get into shape. They all have memories that are attached to them that are one of a kind. And if he comes across one while he's watching TV? He skips over them, without feeling the need to revisit the films: and the only thing he can really do is wonder 'why did I wear my hair like that?'
I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
