1. That Sad Bit On The Fresh Prince Was Totally Real
For fans of The Fresh Prince, that poignant episode titled Papas Got a Brand New Excuse is actually just as sad as it seems. In the episode, Wills deadbeat father Lou returns after a 14-year absence to spend time with his son. The Banks, especially Uncle Phil, see through Lous lies, but Will cant; hes so happy to be with his dad that he drops his trademark swagger and acts like an eager child. Sadly though, Lou lets Will down yet again. Will Smiths character was supposed to brush off the whole thing, but Wills father actually had left him when he was younger and he just fell apart on the set. That hug at the end between him and Uncle Phil is one of the most authentic hugs you'll ever see, because it wasn't staged at all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgkqTFasfmA
I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
