10 Things You Didn't Know About Epcot

3. There's Room For More Pavilions

There are 11 pavilions that circle World Showcase Lagoon at Epcot and at first glimpse it does seem pretty full.

Just like every other park at Disney World though, Epcot was not designed to be finished. There's actually room for another 8 different pavilions. Disney even announced there would be a Spain, Israel and Equatorial Africa in previous years but these were never constructed.

The last pavilion that opened at World Showcase was Norway in 1988 and nothing else has come since. Perhaps once all the construction is complete at Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, Epcot could get a new country for visitors to enjoy?
