10 Things You Need To Know Before Comitting To Crazy Hair Colours
4. Bleach Isn't For The Faint-Hearted
Do you know what the difference between peroxide and bleach is? Most people don't and believe they're both the same thing that do the same thing. Not so much. Bleach is used to lift the colour, while peroxide whitens it (before actually colouring it a vibrant or crazy colour). Or the other way around, I forget. Either way, you need to know what's what if you're doing it to your own hair.
If your hairstylist is doing it though, don't worry, they will know the difference and will do it the way they were taught to do it, which means you'll get exactly what you pay for. The downside of bleaching and peroxiding your hair though, is the fact that it damages your hair, so you will probably have to take a break from the crazy colours after doing it too long.
Your hair will need to recover and "rest" once in a while, so perhaps you'll want to give your hair a break over a vacation or when you know you won't be in public much. Not that it looks bad, you can go ginger once in a while, ginger hair is also pretty.
