10 Things Only London Dungeon Workers Will Understand

6. Parents Are Evil

The London Dungeon is, in fact, a family attraction. After all, it€™s main purpose isn€™t to scare the life out of anyone, but to educate them on the dark side of London€™s history. As such, the vast majority of people coming in are there alongside their family. Of course, whilst there are some children who are (worryingly) enthusiastic about the whole thing and can€™t wait to touch the grossest looking waxworks they can find, there are other kids who are just that little bit more€ Delicate. If your child is squeamish or frightened by things like men with beards or the sound of a door closing, you'd think you'd recognise that maybe the Dungeon isn€™t the place to spend a fun-filled day with them. Prepare to be alarmed when you witness parents dragging a hysterical child into the Dungeon, insisting over the sound of screams and sobs that €œit€™s not that bad, you€™ll be absolutely fine, seriously, we already paid for the damn tickets online, Theodore, you€™re visiting the Dungeon and you€™re going to enjoy it, so help me God."
