10 Things Only London Dungeon Workers Will Understand

5. Queue Management Is The Worst Thing Ever

Considering the London Dungeon is (surprise!) in London, England, you€™d be forgiven for imagining the queues run like a dream. After all, the British love queuing, right? It€™s practically our national sport. We€™d gladly queue up just to join another queue. Whilst all this is absolutely true and not remotely based in stereotype, don€™t be fooled. These queues are horrible and the duty known as queue management is the devil€™s idea of a good time. London is very, very busy - especially around its train stations and even more especially around a station like London Bridge which serves literally hundreds of thousands of people every day. Imagine trying to maintain a queue with a whopping great gap in it to accommodate people entering and exiting the station. Imagine doing that all day, whilst people misunderstand where the end of the queue is and try to push in and shout at you that it€™s all taking much too long. Now imagine going home and crying in the bath because you€™ve been betrayed by something you used to love: dammit, queues, I gave you some of the best years of my life.
