10 Things You'll Only Understand If You're From Camden

10. You Fell For The 'Tattoos Are Integral To Camden' Trick

Tattoos, which are so popular in the modern day, seem to spring up everywhere. An estimated 20 per cent of Brits are inked, and this statistic shows no sign of decreasing, especially with the rise in celeb tattoos (i.e Harry Styles and David Beckham). Arriving in Camden with a suitcase and a key to your new flat when you were say, 20, looking around at your new horizons and counting the sheer number of people with tattoos walking past had to mean only one thing. Tattoo time. With a tattoo parlour two minutes from your front door (and another twelve within a 10 minute walking radius), you strolled in, picked a skull out of a vast portfolio of skull drawings, and felt immediately initiated into Camden life (depsite no one telling you or even slightly encouraging you to do this). It just seemed the done thing, you know?

I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
