10 Things You'll Only Understand If You're From Camden

9. You Visit The Food Market On Your First Weekend

And then never go back. You were once a tourist who visited Camden regularly, and you know it well enough to have chosen to come and settle here in a home of your own. On your first Saturday you wake up, gleefully throw open your front door, and embrace your new life with a visit to the famous food market. Maybe you'll get yourself some early morning noodles or a speciality wrap as a treat, and wander the streets with your food in order to explore your new home more. Queuing with 30 other hungry individuals at ten o clock in the morning, who vary from 15 year old girls from Kensington wearing heels and snapping selfies, to tall men in long black coats smelling strongly of weed, you find your appetite decreasing. You look longingly back in the direction of your flat, and realise the chances of you falling back on any tourist habits just went out the window.
