9. Desperately Wanting "The Good One"
As the keeping track of the queue is going on, so too is the anticipation of what hairdresser you'll be getting, which can be absolutely nerve-wracking when one particular hairdresser doesn't do, or seem to do, a particularly good job.
While it's nothing personal towards the 'bad' hairdresser, it can be a discomfort to sit in their seat when on the last visit they didn't do such a great job, and left you looking like a member of the marine corps.
You spot another hairdresser is also doing the finishing touches to their current client, and you pray to the barbicide gods that you get them instead of the bad one.
