How many times have you said or heard the phrase, "I literally died with laughter"? Did you, though... literally? Because you actually can. The most famous case was in 1975, when British man, Alex Mitchell, was watching The Goodies. This particular episode was called "Kung Fu Kapers", in which a Scotsman battles a master of the Lancastrian martial art named "Eckythump", who was armed with black pudding. Mitchell laughed and laughed for 25 minutes, until he finally slumped on the couch, dying from heart failure. His widow thanked The Goodies in a letter for making her husbands last moments alive so pleasant. Another person said to have died with laughter is the Greek philosopher Chrysippus of Soli, after watching a donkey trying to eat his figs. That does actually sound pretty hilarious.
