6. Electricity To The Brain

This is most definitely the least advisable route to follow if you want to become smarter. Anyone who tries to shove a couple of live electrical wires up their nose so they won€™t be considered stupid may be beyond help. But in reality, researchers found that applying weak electrical signals to certain parts of the brain resulted in participants being far more likely to solve complex riddles. This was performed using a transcranial direct current simulation device. Although they may sound like a great Christmas gift idea, don€™t expect to see them hitting the shops any time soon.
