The Book of Revelation has a very long and detailed description of the apocalypse and everything that comes along with it. It starts with an array of disasters, such as wars, plagues, and famines, and with different signs letting people know the apocalypse is coming. Then the Antichrist is predicted to appear, someone who will gain control over the whole world.

Along with the false prophet, a religious ruler, he will establish a system that controls the entire planet. Then two prophets will appear in Jerusalem, two people who will actively oppose the Antichrist and the false prophet. Eventually the new system will be overthrown with acts such as asteroids landing on the earth and water becoming blood. Finally Christ will return, riding on a white horse, to defeat evil and set up the kingdom of God.
