9. You Could See In The Dark If You Ate Your Carrots

What child had cravings for carrots? The only way your parents could get the majority of you to eat your vegetables was to convince you that if you did, they would give you superhero powers. Carrots would give you the ability to make you see in the dark, if you ate your peas you would literally grow into the green giant and if you ate oranges, they would tinge your skin so it made you look like you had a tan. What's worse is that you trusted your parents and were convinced that these things were actually happening.
