12. Receiving Your Coffee With 'It's Mine, All Mine!'
Okay, this first one is a little more silly, but it's a bit of throwaway fun that is - hopefully - more likely to induce wry chuckles and knowing grins, rather than worried glances. Getting coffee in the mornings can be a necessary evil, even if you're getting it from your favourite little caffeine boutique or dispensary. Most people just try and muddle through, sometimes even just taking the wrong order or ordering the easiest thing just to get through the whole process and get their precious fix of caffeine. However, if you want to make things a little bit sillier and more enjoyable for those around you, then try channeling your inner Smeagol/Gollum in the coffee line. Maybe not when you're ordering, but when you're waiting for your coffee, begin to work on that particular voice. Your possessive delight at seeing your drink is pure Gollum. You might consider cradling it reverently, proclaiming 'it's mine, all mine', and giving some faux-murderous looks as you cup your cup jealously, daring anyone to take it, are all viable options. Scampering away with it, you might be hamming it up, but it'll have you in fits of giggles and might even make other people in the queue laugh too. What's to lose?
