Oprah's kind of been doing it so long that we just forget about her. She's a staple of modern celebrity, and that's a description that's been accurate for anyone to use at any time since the 1980s, really. She has her television network, she has her talk show, she has her book club, she has her charity network. That's not all though, and it gets to a point where one has to wonder if it will ever be all. 2013 saw her return to the big screen in a non-voice acting role for the first time since 1998, where she played Gloria Gaines in Lee Daniels' The Butler. While the film received mixed reviews, Oprah was lauded for her work and may be in line for another Oscar considering that she's already been nominated for a Screen Actors' Guild award. Oh, and she's the most powerful celebrity in the world according to Forbes.
